May. 16th, 2016 06:57 amGood morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!
Ways to Give:
alumiere is disabled and unable to work; they're working on disability funding (SSDI etc) but in the meantime need help with medication costs and utilities. You can read more and help out at their YouCaring, and they also have gently used closed and custom sewing/costuming for sale here.
secondsilk linked to a fundraiser for his partner, artist Natasha Madden, who has work being exhibited in the Australia pavilion at the Berline Biennale but needs funding to help get to Berlin to complete and install her work. You can read more about her work and support her fundraiser here.. She's only got $600 to go!
Kate linked to Con Or Bust, which helps fans of color/nonwhite fans attend SFF cons. Con Or Bust is holding an auction fundraiser; they're accepting items for auction through May 24th and the auction itself will open on the 25th; fans of color/nonwhite fans can request assistance from May 27th through June 6th for upcoming cons. You can read more about the auction and how to participate here.
dreamwaffles linked to a fundraiser to raise awareness of rat lungworm, a preventable but under-publicized parasite found on produce in tropical climates. You can read more about preventing the parasites and support the awareness campaign and parasite research here.
rilee16 is still struggling to cover medical expenses after two head injuries last year, and hasn't been cleared to return to work, thus can't earn money to cover basic living costs, let alone the bills they've received. You can read more and help out here.
editrx has been struggling to keep her indy bookstore afloat for this past year, and on top of her troubles there, she's now been the subject of a violent assault by her housemate. She's dealing with mounting medical bills and trauma from the assault. She doesn't have a new fundraising site yet, but funds from her ongoing YouCaring fundraiser will reach her, as will income from the Starcat Books online etailer. She also has jewelry for sale on Etsy. (Obviously if you're shopping her etail or etsy there may be a delay in delivery.)
News To Know:
Amanda linked to Spirits, a podcast about mythology, folklore, urban legends, and mixed drinks. You can listen to the podcast and support their Patreon here!

dreamwaffles has a shop on Etsy with cool beaded art and earrings for very reasonable prices; she'd also like everyone to know that she has found a job for the summer working with kids, which is great! You can shop and purchase here!
And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can post items for my attention at the Radio Free Monday submissions form or via email at copperbadge at gmail dot com. If you're not sure how to proceed, here is a little more about what I do and how you can help (or ask for help!). If you're new to fundraising, you may want to check out my guide to fundraising here.
