Today’s figure was a “Crane Money
Oct. 2nd, 2016 12:16 pmToday’s figure was a “Crane Money Envelope” from the book Fun With Origami by Kobayashi Kazuo, translated by Giles Murray, which was a gift from a reader.
I’ve been trying to use up the last of my really giant origami paper (some of it was really nice but I’m down to the relatively hideous magenta stuff) and this figure does require a sizable 1:2 sheet, so I made two from one piece of the big stuff.
Also packed two boxes of books and linens this morning, and bagged up most of my fridge magnets. Which given I have a lot of magnetic poetry words, took some doing and destroyed my fingernails…
