A lot of the diagrams in the origami calendar are fully bonkers, but I will say that because a lot of them start out with a “prefab” base – like they don’t make you walk through the instructions every time, they just say “start with X base” – I’m learning to name and fold the bases from memory really effectively.

But I’m not cutting ear flaps in this owl, that’s just silly.
