0.5. Rain was a big theme this time around. Wet dogs, leaking roofs...must be that time of year.
1. I think it's really interesting and neat that the writer(s) of House touched the surface of the race-sensitive-drugs issue in the same episode that they portray Americans of Hispanic origin in what might be construed as a stereotypical light. And that's not sarcasm -- I think it was intentional and the point-counterpoint was fascinating (plus, was there anyone who was actually surprised that House speaks Spanish? No, I thought not).
2. One does, however, sometimes want to shake the Ducklings for so clearly not getting it. How many other patients of all nationalities has House lied to? Oh, only ALL OF THEM.
3. While Abby and Gibbs were incredibly awesome in the last episode and I ship them hardcore, the Abby/McGee in this episode was almost more awesome.
4. My mum has vowed to use "I don't need a reason" ala Gibbs whenever any of her children ask "why" from now on, but I think personally I will adopt the phrase "I'm building a boat" whenever anyone tells me I need to see a movie.
