Well, they would've eventually had to kill off Doyle anyway, considering, you know, Glenn Quinn DIED. But I understand your point, Doyle was awesome.
I never watched Angel after season 3 really; a few random episodes season 4 I think, like whichever one was when Angel turned into a puppet because that was hilarious.
