cblj_backupOne of my myriad unnamed Graphic Designer coworkers walked into the office this morning, looked at me, and said "It is just up-yours cold out there."
I cannot argue, it is indeed up-yours cold in Chicago today.
I went to bed at some ridiculous hour like 8pm last night, and overslept this morning by 45 minutes (still got to work on time! God bless the El). I couldn't talk for about the first ten minutes of work, but I'm not sure if that was from the Up Yours Cold or from an impending illness. Given the 12 hours of sleep and the coughing and runny nose, I'm going with "impending illness" for now and popping cough drops like they're going out of style.
In addition to the Twelve Days of Christmas filk, in the last post we filked both Rudolph the Red-Nosed Roomba and Deck The Halls (now known as Schadenfreude; it's in two parts).
Please feel free to continue, and I'll put them all in a PDF songbook; may I suggest "O Little Tote Of Bethlehem" and/or "Wildebeest ofOrient Africa Are". :D Bonus if you can work in "sub-saharan" at some point.
