I am stuck in an elevator. (dont worry, maintenance is on the way.)

You guys would not believe the day I have had.

You're getting service in this elevator?

Wow, I'm kind of impressed.

You've gotta tell me your secret, then, because I've got Verizon and my elevator service sucks.

It might depend on region. In Chicago, Verizon's way better than AT&T, and same in Austin, but it might be different elsewhere.

It depends on your phone, too. Some have stronger signals than others.

I lose Verizon service when I go in a tunnel, but in Verizon's defense, the tunnel is under a road.

I've been there. =\

Although at the time we had no lights and it was me, four teenage boys, and three speakers stacks all waiting for maintenance to kick things going again. The rest of the day got even longer, now that I remember it.

{{Hugs}} from a claustrophobic - how do you get the internet in an elevator?

I was once stuck in an elevator. I was catering and had 3 cases of wine. It was fun.

If I didn't know better, I'd think you work in my building. People get stuck in the elevators all the time here.

Same here. :) We have one we call the death lift - it's plummeted 8 floors before, with people inside. The other one is less fun and simply shuts down power in the middle of the day. Mostly on Mondays, funnily enough.

ELEVATOR PARTY!!! Brake out those Clif Bars, mingle with other elevatorians, dance to the elevator music, and make crank calls on the emergency phone! :D

WOOOOO!

(I hope they can bust you out soon)

I would watch that.

ICON WIN!

/Sadface because I have no appropriate snake-related icon

YOUR ICON IS AMAZING.

However, I think the sequel should be Lizards on a Lift, because I adore alliteration. They could be really threatening lizards, like Komodo dragons.

You know you're reading too much SPN fanfic when your first response to an "Oh, Sam!" comment on Sam_Storyteller Copperbadge's LJ is "It's okay, Dean'll come around sooner or later."

:(

This is you. I'd believe anything.

Glad you have magic elevator internet, though. Hope maintenance gets you out before claustrophobia/boredom/frustration sets in.

AHHH that is never not horrifying! :(

I used to live in a really crap building downtown where we typically had to wait 20 minutes anytime we needed the elevator. This was a 30 story building with 800 students going to class every other hour, and had TWO elevators. We always ended up overstuffing them so they got stuck all the time with like 20 people squeezed in the car.

Hahahaha! Unfortunately I freak out into elevators. Though if Sam's there... :D

(but it's a really annoying thing to be stuck. Glad you're okay and than you had the internet in your hands!)

Oh no! I hope it is a pleasant elevator. I'm sure the smartphone helps.

I think elevator strandings often seem to happen on the most inconvenient or already crazy days. I've been stuck twice: once in high school while trying to get to an AP exam (luckily about 1/3 of the students taking the exam were crammed into the same elevator, so they delayed it for us), and later after a really long day of work on my birthday.
