Okay, quickie technology test because I'm paranoid and y'all are awfully quiet -- everyone did see that last post I made about Temporal Logistics and also Women's Athletics, right? Like, it showed up on your flist? If it didn't, can you let me know?

I'm working on a theory that some jiggery-pokery I did might mean posts with links in aren't showing up. I could be totally wrong and you all really are just That Quiet, but. Testing to make sure.

Turns out you are all just suspiciously quiet this afternoon.

I saw it, but I'm recovering from bathing ferrets... much energy expended... not much left for LJ. :)

'bathing ferrets' sounds like a euphemism. Why, Draco, what a wet coat you have...

Heh... no... I was honest to goodness bathing two of my three ferrets (the third hasn't got much fur left.)

OMG Ferretses! I had 3 and bath time was always HILARIOUS. Scooting around on their bellies after, never failed to crack me up.

Logi is lovely if uh... dim. He was HEADBANGING into the flannel in the cage as if he could force the water up through his body and off the top if he just smacked into it hard enough. I love him... but not too bright.

The dumb ones are the best ones. But that's too funny. I can totally see it. I had one with similar looks that would simply FLING himself off of the furniture. He never seemed to plan ahead for landing though.

We actually have a trick called "Logi Launch!" I stand about two feet back from the cage, open the top door and say "Logi Launch" and he scoots back and takes a flying leap into my arms. We had to learn to do it as a trick on command, because otherwise I got ambushed with flying ferret in my hair every time I opened the cage to feed them, give meds to the eldercocker or fix the bedding.

Ferret Bowling. We used to lie them on their backs and then slide them across the floor. They always came running back for more!
Flying ferret. LMAO.

OMG! Ferret bowling, yes! The big guy in my icon there is Spirit. He passed away last November, but he was a 4 lb. ferret. Yes, seriously. Anyway, he *loved* ferret bowling. I'd slide him across the hard wood floor into a pillow and he'd get up and RUN back to me so I'd do it again! Exactly like you said! Ferrets are the awesomest, aren't they? :)
