Okay, today has been so exhausting and Friday The Thirteenthy that I cannot even dredge up the energy to explain to you all why it has SUCKED SO BAD, but I'd like to mention that the day began with me thinking, "Hm, it's 80 degrees out once again. Casual Friday! I think I'll wear shorts and a polo and not bring my jacket to work."

Current temperature: 54F and falling.

I just knit it in the round and added some i-cord edging instead of knitting four panels and seaming it up, because I hate seaming things. I kind of MacGyvered the top based on a few other people's TARDISes and some photo references.

Originally I only meant to knit one for help_nz, but then it kind of grew on me. I'm not even that big of a Who fan, but I might knit one for myself anyway, because HUGGABLE TARDIS ♥

The weather you're describing is unfortunately way too common in Ithaca. Plus they keep my building really cold during the summer, so I keep lots of extra clothes at work. They should prove useful if I ever spill chemicals on myself and need to hang out under the safety shower for awhile!

The safety shower is in the hallway. I try to stay in shape in case I need to strip in front of my co-workers to save my life.

waaaaaaaaaaaaaay late on this. but i didn't actually think friday the 13th meant anything. that is, until i locked myself out of the house that day. and found out someone i was getting close to is shipping out in june for a year in afghanistan. and ... yeah. my day spiraled so badly from there....
