Me: Uh, no?
Awkward Coworker: It's just when [mutual coworker] does that it means I've startled her. Apparently I...do that.
Me: No, I'm just, um, focused? And I like my swivel chair.
Awkward Coworker: They are convenient, I guess...

There was a point? I was enjoying the whole exchange so much I didn't even think to wonder why Awkward had approached you. (I sometimes speak to people simply because they are along my path. I love you and Awkward because I am probably the Awkward Coworker to one or more of my colleagues.)
