In some ways, this particular genderswap is canon; Marvel has explicitly mentioned in a relatively recent issue that Reed Richards found an alternate universe where "Natasha" Stark and Steve Rogers married and this somehow averted the Civil War event.

Clint/Coulson got its roots down early in the Thor film :) And I think more Coulson/Steve would get written but Steve/Tony overwhelms :D I don't really see Clint/Fury, I have to say; Clint didn't interact much with Coulson but he didn't interact with Fury at all.

I think Steve would find Coulson's obsession a bit weird, especially after the "I watched you sleep" business. Granted that he's probably not familiar with the term "stalking," he spent a year touring with a USO company and likely had to spend a *lot* of time fending off groupies.

I think the obsession thing could be worked around, especially since it's brought up occasionally in other fics -- "Yeah, I had all the Cap stuff as a kid" etc -- but with Tony around who wants to pair up Steve with Coulson :D

There is a really good one on Tumblr somewhere, called Stealth And Heroism, about how Coulson was basically raised in the SHIELD culture.

I hadn't considered Female!Stark until a couple of weeks ago, and now there are two excellent fics that do really cool things with the idea (based off the "in the Multiverse, there are versions where Tony/i Stark is a woman, rather than Male!Stark getting himself gender-flipped).

So, I really really really loved this, but it made me really sad too, because I have never seen a normal media depiction of a women this awesome, and layered and confidant and proud of her sexuality. How she talked is how I talk when I'm being really full of myself! And it took this to make me realize that I haven't seen that before. I want this Tony to be the movies! She could be my new role model! I would show these movies to any children that somehow accidentally managed to find their way into my life!

(I am aware that no incarnation of Tony Stark is a good role model for young children, probably. They would be slightly older children!)

Really, though, this was utterly wonderful.
