I once went to an interview and was so appalled by the selection committee* that I stopped and withdrew my name from consideration on the way out.

*Job was to chair an academic department at a community college and there were NO faculty on the selection committee.

I have a friend who was at an interview for a receptionist job at an insurance agency. The guy kept telling her how he was out partying the night before. Then he vomited on her. On. Her.

Needless to say, she walked out and reported him and it is my sworn duty to tell anyone even thinking of applying there to run away.

Not that that ever happened to me. (I had no contact number to call them with. OH CRAIGSLIST JOB SEARCHING. So glad I'm done with that.)
