So, a while back, I was in a discussion with some friends over the "consentacles" tag on AO3, a fine tag, one which encompasses not only tentacle kink but the incorporation of consent into the tentacle kink. Getting consent is important even for tentacles!
But I am a curious monkey, and so while I was exploring the Consentacles tag, I noticed they had a sister tag, the Dubious Consentacles tag. And for some reason I found this hilarious.
The thing about Archive Of Our Own is that some tags are just kind of there, floating around, and some have been "canonized", or made a standard tag that will pop up if you type part of the word in the appropriate box. And while "consentacles" had been canonized, "dubious consentacles" had not. (Seriously, I still laugh a little every single time.)
So we determined that if we could get five fanfics on AO3 tagged Dubious Consentacles, the tag would eventually be canonized. The best way to do this, naturally, was a Dubious Consentacles fanfic throwdown. The throwdown is over now, but what that means is that I can share my winning entry with all of you!
Title: Kiss The Sky
Rating: R
Summary: Steve's not sure where he is, or how he got there, or why there's a tentacle there, but at least he's having fun.
Warnings: Dubious consent; inadvertent/involuntary (but not, I think it's important to differentiate, unwelcome) drug use.
