Okay so I lied, I'm not reviewing Lovejoy next, because I only just finished The Shadow Of The Wind and it has to go back to the library tomorrow, stupid two-week-checkout rules.

To be honest, I'm so confused about this book. In a good way, mind you, but still. I do want to say that I enjoyed this book thoroughly and completely, and it had a lot of meat to bite into. There was no point at which it was a chore to keep reading. The storytelling is flawless, the characters are interesting, the dialogue is excellent. The concepts are intriguing too -- the reason I took the book out was that Cathy recommended it, because she thought I would love the concept of the Graveyard of Lost Books from the first chapter (and I did).

It's been a banner day for dreams today -- at least five people on my flist posted about their dreams and my mother and stepfather compared theirs (both religiously themed) over breakfast this morning.

I thought, given all the grace and piousness we had going, it would be inadvisable to share my own particular dream, in which my only hope of surviving lay in hiding inside a specially-built RV with many people of my acquaintance (all of whom in reality are deceased) in the hopes of surviving a hurricane/tornado thingy designed to destroy humanity.

It was a very nice RV, however.
