So, here is the story as it stands, and hopefully my last entry on the subject because other peoples' medical ailments are rarely of interest to anyone.

Mum went and had a blood test this morning and scheduled an ultrasound for next week. She's feeling much better, but I'm not counting on that lasting, because she seems to cycle between Better and Worse. We've gone for groceries and I've cleaned a bit, finishing...just in time to start dinner. Ah well. Chicken stir-fry! Delicious and fun to make.

I hope to be around this evening, but one never knows.

Ten days till Chicago-scouting trip, and a little under a month until the move. We're discussing the idea of me driving The Creature to Chicago, as I won't exactly have to be there on any particular day, but we're not sure how to get it home once Chicago makes it redundant. I have to say, while I don't like cars, I have a stronger aversion to being treated as a criminal because of hysterical, hypocritical, and by-and-large useless regulations on air-flight put in place to placate a fearful but vocal minority.

But that's just me.
