Jan. 11th, 2007 10:28 amI finally got to see House, which is terribly unfair since my boss was watching it LAST NIGHT AT WORK and it was just slightly too quiet for me to catch any content. She's a sadist. :D
1. Okay, so now we see that Tritter is grade-A insane. Awesome.
2. HOORAY FOR LECTURES TO STUDENTS. House is a powerful teacher and I hope we get to see more of his formal teaching style. Three Stories, for me, was not a great episode because of the personal content but because of the lecture, which slam-dunked. I know this could have been an in-depth comment on House's dealings with the Twelve Steps or his bribery of the guard, but fuck it, Three Things is supposed to be shallow!
3. Poor Wilson. It's hard to see an Oncologist cry. Still, the apology to him was fantastic. All of House's apologies were deftly written and well-performed. Hugh Laurie can't write a novel to save his soul, but he's a splendid actor and that single apology to Tritter redeemed the whole arc for me.
3a. I thought only twelve-year-old girls knew how to fold fortunetellers. I'm impressed, as always, with House's breadth of knowledge and depth of girlyness. :D
3b. I suspect one of my coworkers might write House fanfic. She's fairly obsessive (squeaked when I introduced her to torrent downloads) and she ships House and Wilson hardcore.
