Oh btw, for those of you who are reading the Continuations...

[info]stardust9121 linked me to a new preview for Heroes 1x19 and 1x20. Which includes these two frames (that's Claire on the right, a split second after the first frame on the left).

Well, hello, Jack Baker.

I swapped shifts with a coworker so that she could go to a callback today, which was just as well since I didn't fancy going home at ten tonight. Work flattened me; I don't know if I'm sick or what, but I'm very tired these days. Some of it is comedown from finishing the Hiatusfic, I'm sure -- I felt the same after I finished Stealing Harry and Sweet Home, both emotional rides in their own right.

The Hiatus Continuations clocks in at a hundred thousand words, and was completed in a little under five weeks. Would that I could write original fiction with such speed and precision. I really wish I could -- then perhaps I could make a living at it and at times like these I could live on the publishers' advances. :D

*crashes*

*snores*
I fell asleep again this afternoon (I still haven't gotten my milkshake from yesterday) and woke up half an hour ago, shaking and disoriented.

And that was before I got the email from my mother informing me that they've just made an offer on an undeveloped 23-acre lot outside of Austin.

Maybe if I hide in the bed, the world will go away.

I'm better now, I don't know why I woke up such a mess -- I felt better after throwing up, so perhaps the...kitkat bar I ate...was bad or something. But I have had the pervasive sensation since arriving home that really, hiding in the bed is the best possible option.

So, that settles it. Wednesday's my next day off; I'm goddam going to the Art Institute Museum and I'm going to sketch, which I haven't done in months and I don't even know where my contes are, but I will buy a stupid conte crayon and a sketchpad. Something's got to shake this. Art has always worked before.
