He's all complete; I ended up felting his limbs on rather than sewing, because do I really care if his limbs move? I do not. I also left off his eyes and changed the nose from the pattern, because I kind of like his blank-faced look.
While I was working on him, I did stab myself with the felting needle. In the theatre, stabbing yourself with a needle while sewing a costume is good luck as long as you bleed a bit on what you're sewing, so I staunched the blood using his ear. Thus he is not just a monkey but a Lucky Monkey.
I think my work here is done. *dusts hands*
