We were discussing superheroes in the box office this morning, including the reality show Who Wants To Be A Superhero, while Tibs gave us highlights of some of the funnier contestant profiles.

Being people who live primarily in the world of fantasy, the box office staff decided to come up with their own superhero alter egos. Tibs wants to be the Funk Monkey, a green monkey who is king of all things musical and able to fly on soundwaves. M has decided she wants control over molecules, I'm not sure how that's going to work.

Me? Well, I am secretly Sarcasmo, whose superpower is to control people with the sound of his voice. My catchphrase? "Sure thing...boss."

I also got to invent the villains that all of us battle: The Bureaucrat, and his henchman The Man.

Can you tell we've gone back to having rather a lot of time on our hands around here?

I saw a guy on the El today with a tatt that read "Death Before Dishonour". But, because it was in really hard to read gothic lettering, I thought it read "Death Becomes the Dinosaurs" for a minute.
