It was certainly all go at the theatre today. I barely had time to check my mail, let alone reply to anything. I did a thousand-plus dollars worth of business today, which is highly unusual for any day when we're not in season-ticket sales. Coworker A did only about two hundred, which is still pretty high for our average lately.

I got no less than three job rejections today, which I think is probably some kind of record. Coworker B left us for good on Thursday, to return to graduate school, and coworker A told me she's just put in her notice because she landed, well, one of the jobs I applied for. Not that she knew that, she's not malicious in the least and in some ways I'll be glad to see the last of her because she's not very good at selling tickets, so presumably she'll be much better in marketing. Today was also Coworker J's first day of training -- he's the one that's going to have the manager position I thought I might be considered for in the fall. He's quite nice, just moved to Chicago, and he has the training and experience that qualifies him for the position, so there's no-one to blame for that one, really.

I'm working the rest of the week until next Sunday, though I do get Labor Day off. Course, that's a bit useless since nothing but the bars are open, but I'm sure I'll find occupation. :D
