Link for the day -- The World Without Us. It's actually quite a comforting look at what would happen over the next five billion years if humanity left the earth today. Unless you live in NYC and really really love it, I suppose. I especially like the bit about the Immensely Successful Feral Housecats. Follow it in order -- the "Forever" box is a great payoff.
