Jan. 16th, 2008 06:33 pmLife is a circus.
No phone calls all day long but, from the period of 3-5 pm, when I was in a No Phones No Really NO PHONES meeting, I got five phone calls and four text messages. Two of which I will reproduce for you verbatim:
Text Message #1 from R:
Yo shit is bananas down here, can't live with mother, driving home tonight come hell or high water.
Text Message #2 from R:
I am not coming home tonight, for sure. Call me.
So, crisis averted there; he got his godfather to talk to his mum and godmother about the mothering. And I was looking forward to skipping out on the staff workday tomorrow to drive down and fetch him...:D
No teeth fell out today. Hooray!
