Feb. 10th, 2008

It's been a twilight-zone day.

I heard R and a girl come in late last night, but didn't pay it much mind. This morning apparently my path just barely missed intersecting with the girl who, at seven-thirty in the morning, was still drunk and had decided to move from the couch where she'd crashed (R being a gentleman, her having no money for cab fare) to the floor of his room, which I don't even like to walk barefoot on. I assumed they'd hooked up, but apparently she's a friend and also a total train-wreck who just slept over. She was certainly eager to bolt when she finally did wake up for good around one in the afternoon.

I decided it was too fucking cold to go out today, so after watching some TV I actually fell asleep around four. I slept for hours on end, which isn't like me. R didn't wake up until about an hour ago, and stumbled out the door to a local gig. And I'm going to bed soon, because of work tomorrow. It feels like the day never really even happened. Very strange.

My wrist feels better and the raw bits are beginning to fade a little. Rest helps.

This has not been the most noteworthy weekend in my livejournalistic history, I must say. :D
