You guys, hey you guys, the sun was above the horizon when I woke up this morning. This is SO EXCITING.

I also found, via a random stumble round flickr, the Websites as Graphs page. You can see some info on how the graphs work here; they're gorgeous, and the one of Google is particularly sublime. Curious, I followed a link to the app, entered this journal's URL, and literally gasped aloud when it started to chart it. The graphing process is animated and incredibly dynamic.

Uh, but try not to go over there all at once, we've crashed servers with less.
If my job had postsecrets mine would be something along the lines of "If you are here for a job interview, and you take a newspaper from my desk when it is clearly labeled as belonging to a staff member, I automatically assume you should not get the job."

Judgemental? OH YES. Inaccurate? LIKELY!

I have newspaper issues okay.
OMG BUSY SAM WAS BUSY TODAY.

I got pulled off the desk to work on a special project shortly after I posted, and while that was interesting in its own right because I wasn't at my desk my lunch sub came and went without me actually eating lunch, and I didn't notice for...hours. Finally BossBoss came up to me and was all "Great! Have you had lunch yet?"

"No," I said.

"You should go eat!"

"Uh, it's 4:30," I said.

"Oh. Well. You should go eat dinner, then!"

Yeah, thanks BossBoss. But he did give me ten bucks to buy dinner with, though I've squirrelled it away for some other use at some point.

Shame, I packed a really nomworthy lunch today too. It'll still be good tomorrow, though.

Argh, time to collapse and die now.
Uses for A Fuckton Of Hot Cocoa Mix Other Than Making A Fuckton Of Hot Cocoa, #2:

SO I did make a cake last night but I didn't frost it because it was still hot when I went to bed. So this evening I softened some butter and dumped it into some powdered sugar and added a little milk and a bunch of hot cocoa mix and made HOT COCOA FLAVOURED FROSTING.

Genius! The cocoa is milled fine enough that it doesn't clump up like cocoa powder, especially since I don't have a mixer. And it makes it all creamy because of the milk. Or something. Chemistry is awesome! Some chemistry, anyway. Not the kind that involves maths, but definitely the kind that involves frosting.

Mm, frosting.

In other news, I downloaded LJSec but it wants me to download something called the .NET Framework. Is this going to bugger my computer? I run XP on a Dell Inspiron and I'd kinda like not to install anything that's going to lock me out of all my files or erase my Adobe Photoshop or anything...
