It's the dimple. It gets me every time.

I was going through old snaps this week, looking for something for the Weekly Log, when I found this in a folder on the desktop.

I finally understand now why I let Jack keep the evil beagle.

If aliens that look like Jack ever come to Earth to invade, I'm going to be in a lot of trouble.

Today was kind of insane, with the crazy people phoning me and ThirdBoss deciding I didn't really need that lunch break, despite the fact that I can't:

1. Pee, except at lunch, and thus taking a lunch even later than 1pm makes me CRANKY
2. Eat at my desk, by DECREE OF THIRDBOSS

So he kept Coworker J on another floor, working with him, until I called Coworker J fifteen minutes into what should have been my lunch hour, and then when he explained the situation I appealed to BossBoss. Who ascertained that the "very important project" they were working on was, in fact, a spreadsheet. The kind that can be saved and reopened twenty minutes later, after I've been allowed to perform necessary bodily functions.

Coworker J didn't get to go to lunch either, so I gave him a bag of crackers and a Clif bar from my desk. ThirdBoss is the one who gave me four pages of notes in my last employee evaluation. He's a dick, but he's a fairly powerless dick most of the time and I don't think he'll pull that bullshit again in a hurry.

BossBoss did say I didn't have to work on Saturday, so I only have to work Friday night which is no big deal and then I can go home and sleep all weekend long. It's going to be glorious.

I slept most of this evening, and now I am going back to sleep. I have pertinent observations to make on the social-acceptance difference between a broken arm and a broken leg, but I'm not coherent enough to share right now. I hope you all are well and will answer emails and comments tomorrow, promise.
