We missed last week, but I'm back this week with Series Fourteen of Classic Doctor Who, taking place in 1976 and 1977. Long and image-heavy.

Are you ready to say goodbye to Sarah and hello to Leela (hello, Leela), travel to Gallifrey, and uncover the origins of the Time Agency? (I shit you not. RTD took canon from this series like a BANDIT.)

Let's do this thing!

Series Fourteen: The Hand Of Fear, The Face Of Evil, The Cock Of Harmony. )

And that's Series Fourteen!

There's no Post-Mortem this week, because I did some pretty intense Station Breaks that are well meta enough; if you're in it for the meta, rather than the Three Things, you can scroll through for the bolded Station Breaks. Enjoy. :)
This is rigoddamdiculous.

It rained for ten minutes today, and I was thinking at the start, yay! This will end the humidity! But since it only rained for ten minutes it just made everything steam when it stopped and the fucking sun came out again. No need to iron your clothes, just hang them outside for a while. But bring them in before they start to sweat or spontaneously combust.

The thing is, this is the most consistent I've ever seen Chicago weather. Even in winter it's not continually agate-freezing, there are temperate days. But this has been basically a month of unending heat and humidity. It's like living in an armpit, or in Texas.

YOU PICKED A GREAT TIME TO START BEING RELIABLE, CHICAGO, THANKS.

I'm writing a letter of complaint to my alderman.
