Title: Harry Of The Caves
Rating: PG
Warnings: None.
Summary: Merlin doesn't trust this new tournament knight at all.

( Tournament time was always a brilliant time in Camelot. )
[livejournal.com profile] idancewithlife linked me last night to BibliOz, which has a neat little widget where you can look up what books were bestsellers on the day you were born. This comment lower down in my journal made me think about the amusing link between horoscopes and books, and how Peyton Place was a good "sign" to be born under. I myself was born under The Last Enchantment, with Dead Zone rising.

Arthurian myth and literary horror. Yeah, seems about right.

So what signs were you born under, Cafe?

Talking of Arthurian myth, another one for my <1000 challenge:

A former baker and caterer who interviewed with our company last week for an events job just stopped off and left three boxes of fresh rugelach and a box of cookies with our logo on them in icing.

Me to BossBoss: We're going to hire him, right?
BossBoss: There are more important things to consider than -- Jesus Christ have you had the rugelach yet?
Me: The cookies are lemon sponge.
BossBoss: I'm going to talk to HR.

Seriously, you guys, these cookies are amazing. Even if all he does is make us rugelach, he will totally be worth his salary.

And I have Chapter Five of Trace for you, a little earlier than usual -- I managed to get through yesterday's feedback faster than expected. Enjoy!
