Nov. 25th, 2011 09:20 pmI am home! The train ride was lovely and astoundingly we got in early -- the train always seems to be either twenty minutes early or fifty minutes late, never inbetween. I suppose they bank on us remembering the times it got in early every time we're stuck forty minutes on the outskirts of Chicago while a cargo train goes ahead of us.
PEOPLE NEED THEIR CARGO!
Anyway, here I am. The little computer fared very well on the journey, but I'm going to bring up some netflix on his big brother and have some Television Time. We watched part of an NCIS marathon on Thanksgiving, and it made me want to marathon something. I'm not sure what yet.
I had a weird encounter on the train that made me do some solid thinking about writing and such, but I think I'll save that post for another time. All I have to say about the train at present is that the snack car's cheese tray has drastically improved since last time I had it. Om nom nom cheddar.
