Nov. 26th, 2011 08:34 pmOh man. Nyquil dreams are the most awesome dreams.
I've spent the day asleep, off and on, which was lovely. It's been cold and rainy here all day, so I thought it was a good excuse to stay the hell inside. I've mostly shaken the cough, but it caught up with me this afternoon so I dosed with Nyquil and must have overdone it. Sometimes nothing happens, and sometimes it just flattens me, and this was definitely the latter. Still, can't fault my subconscious; I spent the afternoon dreaming I was at a festival with lots of helium-powered air boats, like a steampunk mardi gras. I was quite disappointed to wake up.
Tomorrow is the hotly anticipated Sound Of Music sing-along at the Music Box. Apparently it's a bit like Rocky Horror; there's a fun pack involved, and also a costume contest. Given it's sold out online, I plan to go queue up early. For the Christmas Feature in about a month I have a ticket with an assigned seat and everything, and I wish they did that more often, because there's one seat in the cinema that I consider "mine" and you can call that immature and obsessive all you want, but it's the perfect seat and I hate not sitting on an aisle.
In the meantime, I am watching old MST3K episodes and various documentaries from my other favourite seat, under the blankets in my bed.
