"Having the bathroom remodeled" is a relatively simple way of expressing a two-year process that I can't even get into, and if you ask my sister (who lives at home) about it she may have some kind of coronary, because she has had to share a bathroom with her parents for two years. The point is, they now have workmen actually working on the chaos that began two years ago.
My mother is lovingly documenting every moment of this process. I have never received so many pictures of grout in my entire life.
