Good morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!

Ways to Give:

[livejournal.com profile] rymenhild linked to a Gofundme for a young queer Jewish woman who is aging out of foster care without any financial or family support, and could use a hand to...well, to get her life started.

In related news, [personal profile] onebrightroad linked to a fundraiser for Project Fierce, a grassroots organisation out of Chicago which is raising money to purchase a building to provide housing for homeless queer youth.

[livejournal.com profile] idancewithlife and scifigrl47 on Tumblr both linked to AO3's April Membership Drive. The Drive itself is, I think, finished, but you can always support AO3 by donating. As Sci said, if you've ever wanted to throw a couple of bucks my way for my fanfic, support the archive instead.

[livejournal.com profile] kaydeefalls linked to a kickstarter for Labyrinth Life: The Maze Of Being You, a new geeky and customizable board game.

Help For Free:

Helen linked me to her stepsister's voting page for a scholarship she's trying to win. I think everyone should go and vote just so they could say they'd voted for a scholarship awarded by a framing company. :D Plus apparently Casandra is going all-out trying to get as many scholarships as possible in order to afford her tuition, which will not be cheap.

[personal profile] cadenzamuse is looking for recommendations for psychology/social psychology/social work/sociology books to supplement upcoming grad school curriculum with more diversity.

News To Know:

[livejournal.com profile] the_rainbow_jen linked to a really thought-provoking article about "intern culture" in America.

Just For Fun:

[livejournal.com profile] maeritrae linked to her friend Suzanne's stand-up comedy, which is quite funny. Especially given she's a theoretical quantum physicist for a living.

[personal profile] wandererriha and a helpful Anon both linked me this week to Batman's medical records, which is fun reading; also to Law & The Multiverse, a law blog examining the legal implications of superheroes.

[livejournal.com profile] goseaward linked me this week to HackerTyper. Just go to the site and start typing, and watch the "hacker code" appear....

And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can always post items for my attention in comments here (or on any post) or email me at copperbadge at gmail dot com. If you're not sure how to proceed, here is a little more about what I do and how you can help (or ask for help!).
Text from Mum: I'm going to watch The Iron Lady this weekend. But I have all ten episodes of History Channel's "The Bible" to watch first.
Me: I hope it's educational!
Mum: Well, the Bible series got good reviews.
Mum: But you know if it's not, I can always read the book, I hear it's pretty good. But the hero dies at the end.
Me: Spoiler: he comes back.
Mum: These books always have such unlikely happy endings.

Bless her heart.
