I got an email the other day that my selfpub platform, Lulu, is paring down the variety of book shapes and bindings it offers. Which I think probably makes sense, but a casualty of that streamlining is one of my books, The Secret Of Chicago.

This is no great loss. The book was explicitly created as a contest entry, so it's not like I slaved over it for months or anything. It's also a full-colour book which means it's quite expensive ($26.50 for me to make any profit at all) especially considering it's like...25 pages long. But, if you for some reason desperately want a copy, better get it by August 15th, when I'll be taking it off my sales page on Lulu.

Before you go and buy a copy, however, be aware that I do have a PDF version and I have archived it on Gutenberg's selfpub site, so you can get a copy there for free. You can go direct to the PDF, or check out the page for it on Gutenberg.

I really should rework the story as a proper novel -- if I ever write again *head in hands*
