I had some potatoes left over from the Celeriac Experiment (successful!) so I thought I'd make half into mashed potatoes and freeze them, and make the other half into french fries and freeze those. So I put on the first set of potatoes to boil, and peeled the second set...and then diced them instead of chopping them into french fries.
So now I have MORE MASHED POTATOES THAN GOD. We shall eat well this winter.
But an actual meal of mashed potatoes alone is kind of sad, so I made bacon and sweet-egg omelette, which, it turns out three eggs is like two eggs too many for me in omelette terms, so that's in the fridge awaiting some kind of rice-based meal at some point.
I should make some rice, actually.
