Ink emailed to let me know that Sport-Social, an organization that helps kids with autism through athletics and which was trying to get votes for a grant a few weeks ago, won the grant! So you helped earn them $100K, which is awesome.

why_me_why_not linked to a fundraiser set up for the parents of Izabela Hart, a 17 year old woman who has been unconscious in the hospital for almost two weeks due to a tumor in her brain. The fundraiser is to help pay for parking, food, gas, and bills while her parents are unable to work.
Thyrza on tumblr is still raising funds to keep their home and pets due to some unfortunate issues which affect their bankruptcy payments. They have a gofundme up and are taking paypal donations, but they also have a super-cool Etsy shop selling Avengers, SHIELD, and Hawkeye/Captain Marvel/Captain America jewelry. Mark linked to a kickstarter for Comics Undressed, a documentary about gender, sexuality, and race representation in comics. They're a third of the way to their goal with two weeks to go, so they could use your help! You can read more about the group producing it, Ladydrawers, here.

farwing and corruptviridian are looking for a fourth housemate starting September 1st. The apartment is located in Somerville, MA near Davis Sq. The rent is $575/month + utilities, no pets allowed. They say they are "pleasantly weird artist types."
