Jun. 29th, 2014 12:11 pmMe: *emailing a friend* Doing Radio Free Monday prep is haaaard.
Friend: *ten minutes later* Aw, RFM. It won't take long!
Me: Actually I just finished doing the prep.
See, when you set up a google form, it dumps the results into a spreadsheet, and my RFM spreadsheet is AMAZING. It has cut the time I spend on Radio Free Monday by three quarters. I don't know if it's just that I read data better this way or what, but the form is working really well. I loooooove Google Forms. I want to run my life via Google Forms. Somehow. There must be a way.
And anyway it's not like there's a lot else for me to do right now when I'm at home. I've set up my new laptop and cleaned off the old one, and all of my worldly possessions save clothing, computer, and some cleaning supplies have been packed. My apartment is a series of boxes. But the movers are hired, the new building's been notified, and I am set to jet on out of here on the 18th. It nicely coincides with the company picnic at work, meaning I won't be missed AND won't have to make uncomfortable small talk while standing in the horrible heat and sunshine. So it's a win all around, really.
July is going to be a little nuts, but any time I think I'm stressed, I remember what it was like not to be able to take prescription pain medication when I had gallstones, and anything else seems manageable by comparison.
