She's moving to Portland from North Carolina this month and is raising funds to help cover the move, which will hopefully begin building her career and help her get back on her feet. Shusu, in honor of Leelah Alcorn, a trans woman whose parents sent her to "conversion" therapy and who committed suicide this past month, linked to a number of charities supporting trans people, particularly trans women of color and the Trans Lifeline.
