Ways to Give:

nutmeg3 linked to a fundraiser for Eden, who trains and places service dogs with deserving owners. Her current trainee, Maya, needs surgery for her legs before she can begin her life as a service dog for the wheelchair-assisted; she's raising funds both for Maya and to support future service training. kukla_tko42 is running a GoFundMe to save her house after financial difficulties, including her husband's incarceration. Their home is currently in foreclosure and they will lose it two weeks before her husband is released unless they raise money for the back mortgage. You can read more and help save their house here.

maschalismos was recently diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia, and is struggling to cover medical bills for her diagnosis and for ongoing attempts at treatment. You can read more and help out with her medical bills here.

tereshkova2001 linked to GeekGirlCon, a Seattle-based convention celebrating the female geek, being held October 10-11 this year. They're hosting the Do It Yourself Science Zone for the third year, and are raising money to bring awesome scientists to Seattle to participate. dorkabunny linked to a fundraiser for Gershwin, an abandoned (and very abused) kitty who needs a secure home and will need funding for surgery. They don't have a gofundme that's live yet, but you can read more about Gershwin, offer help with housing, and keep tabs on his fundraising here.

Buy Stuff, Help Out:

toujours_nigel is selling t-shirts to supplement her university stipend and start a wedding fund. They're some very unique designs, reasonably priced (I believe the prices are in Rupees) and ship internationally. You can check out and purchase the shirts here.

fortesgospel is a fused-glass and metalwork artist attempting to make a living selling their goods at their Etsy shop; they have a post up here about their work and their dreams for it, and you can visit the shop itself and check out their gorgeous art here.

editrx has been struggling a lot lately, and is now facing huge water bills, plus a lien on her house for a property tax bill that has gone past due. She needs to raise $6K to keep her head above water. Housing:

tzikeh is looking for a housemate to move into a condo in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood; it's a large bedroom and private bathroom for $805/mo plus utilities (which for Uptown, and to judge by the photos, is a hell of a deal). You can read more and get in touch here.
