Good morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!

A note before we begin -- I've noticed a subtle but steady creep in the number of comments/emails (as opposed to form submissions) requesting a listing on Radio Free Monday, and while that's totally fine (I will still list them!) I want to remind everyone that the absolute best way to enter a listing is to fill out the form here -- it's linked from every RFM post at the bottom, and also on my tumblr sidebar. It gives me all the info I need and helps me write a more effective blurb on your behalf. Also they're WAY less likely to get lost in the mess of my inbox, because the form stores them all in a single spreadsheet I can check.

If you have questions about whether your listing is appropriate or want to make sure it got seen or if you're just more comfortable with email/comments, please, still feel free! I just want to remind everyone that the form makes everyone's lives easier in the long run. :)

And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can post items for my attention at the Radio Free Monday submissions form or via email at copperbadge at gmail dot com. If you're not sure how to proceed, here is a little more about what I do and how you can help (or ask for help!).
This weekend I semi-successfully made chocolate chip cookies. I say semi-successfully because they came out WAY better than my cookies usually do, but still came out a bit odd. The recipe also made WAY more cookies than I had the energy/appetite for, so this morning I brought a big plate of them in to work and set them in the kitchen with a sign begging people to eat them and enjoy them.

Apparently one of our very senior vice presidents was in the office early for a meeting, and about ten minutes after I set them out, he wandered past eating one and informed me that there were GREAT cookies in the kitchen.

God I hope I didn't give him food poisoning.

I'm off to Austin tomorrow to help Mum through a minor surgery. I think for the first time ever I'm actually eager to be going to Austin, but mum has really good painkillers, and I have a really stiff neck....
