Dec. 28th, 2015 07:54 amGood morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!
Ways to Give:
rilee16 is raising funds to help cover medical bills from a head injury they received a few months ago. They're working hard to get their bills sorted but could use a lot of help. You can read more and donate here.
amara1783 linked to a fundraiser for Ashley, a disabled trans woman of color who needs help with living expenses and medical/legal costs associated with her transition; she's also trying to find housing before the end of January. You can support her fundraiser here (the stable housing she references at the YouCaring site has now fallen through) and read more about her housing search here.
editrx has been struggling a lot lately, and is facing a lot of bills, a lien on her house, and overdue rent on her independent bookstore. She's currently raising funds to pay back rent to keep from being evicted; you can read more here and help out here; you can also do your Christmas book shopping online at Starcat Books. She also has jewelry for sale on Etsy.
Just for Fun:
Anon linked to release information for an original slash series, You Could Make A Life, about two gay NHL players navigating professional athletics and their relationship. The series' tumblr is here; you can purchase the "safe for work" version here at Amazon or (I guess? It's not entirely clear quite how) donate here for the NC-17 version.
And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can post items for my attention at the Radio Free Monday submissions form or via email at copperbadge at gmail dot com. If you're not sure how to proceed, here is a little more about what I do and how you can help (or ask for help!).
