(no subject)

I am back at work today! Feeling only mildly guilty about having a NEW YEAR'S FLING with another company. I'm still not sure what the goddamn I'm gonna do about that. I've definitely got a second interview, which will thankfully be Skype, because I don't have the cash to get back to Austin two weeks after leaving it.

I pretty much know I don't want to live in Austin. The question is, does my dislike of Austin trump

a) A job with the potential for more career advancement
b) Being close to my parents, who are not gonna be around forever

And I don't know about that yet. I'm going to go off and read Decisive again and see if I can hedge this all somehow. :D

There is a really good sandwich shop near the new place I'd be working? I mean, really good roast beef...

Anyway. Yesterday's "flower" was, yes, actually was an x-fighter from Star Wars, my bad. Today's diagram from the calendar was a raincoat, which was less than impressive, so instead here is yesterday's (instructions here): A FANCY TWIRLY BIRD.



Mum is amused by all my origami. I hid the last few throughout the house and she's still finding them stashed in cups and shelves and such.
