Nov. 7th, 2016 08:18 amGood morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!
Ways to Give:
frenchroast linked to a fundraiser for
bookishgeek, who lost her partner this week. Her partner's family is taking care of the funeral, but she needs to move and can't afford rent alone; she's also dealing with a smaller paycheck than usual. You can read more and help out via paypal here.
dreamwaffles's summer job just ended and she's trying to make ends meet until she fand land another one. She has a donation page up here but is also selling beaded jewelery through Etsy; you can check out Saxifrage Designs and make a purchase here.
yuki is behind on rent and has bills to pay, and is dealing with an empty bank account after a failed transaction; you can read more and help out here.
rilee16 is still struggling to cover medical expenses after two head injuries last year, and hasn't been cleared to return to work, thus can't earn money to cover basic living costs, let alone the bills they've received. You can read more and help out here.
editrx has been struggling to keep her indy bookstore afloat for this past year, and on top of her troubles there, she's now been the subject of a violent assault by her housemate. She's dealing with mounting medical bills and trauma from the assault and needs a lawyer to ensure her attacker is charged properly and convicted. You can read more and give here, send a giftcard for groceries (to editrx@gmail.com) or support Starcat Books by purchasing here.

alamutjones offers proofreading and editing services for anything from fiction to academic essays to resumes. She's looking at a lean few months while her regular client base (students) are out of classes, so she's looking for new clients who need her services. You can read more and get in touch here; fees are $10 Australian per 1000 words (price is in Australian, services not limited to Australians!).
News To Know:
An Anon from Missouri wanted to remind voters in St. Louis County that they received a sample ballot in the mail, but this is not their actual ballot and will not count as a vote! This is the case in many counties throughout the US, so remember that if your ballot says SAMPLE on it, or if you're unsure, check with your county to make sure your vote counts!
And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can post items for my attention at the Radio Free Monday submissions form or via email at copperbadge at gmail dot com. If you're not sure how to proceed, here is a little more about what I do and how you can help (or ask for help!). If you're new to fundraising, you may want to check out my guide to fundraising here.
