I went out to the Cubs rally a little earlier, back when it was…less than the apparent six million is now :D I got in fairly easily, but I had little alarms going off – security was not very tight and there were a lot of shouty drunks.
It’s great to see the crowds, and it was nice to be out with a bunch of Cubs fans all feeling happy and friendly, but I’m just as happy to watch them from my television with a sandwich. After all, this is how I’ve watched a lot of the games themselves.
My stepdad was looking into season tickets for the Cubs and I said “How long is the waiting list now?” and he said there’s 85,000 people waiting. :D Which, usually the waiting list is long, so that’s not surprising. I told him the Gary Railcats have no waiting list, and I suspect though I was joking it means I might be getting a season ticket package to the Railcats for Christmas. Which honestly would be a pretty fun gift….
