Good morning everyone, and welcome to Radio Free Monday!
Ways to Give:
altheterrible is trying to fund the last part of applying to pharmacy school; they come from a disadvantaged background and are aiming to work with people who haven't had good experiences with the medical community. You can read more about what help they need to get into a great school and support their attempts here.
Amy's Friends have put up a fundraiser for Amy, who survived a suicide attempt a few months ago and has been put on suicide watch and Disability, which means she is not allowed to work. She receives Disability pay, which is not enough to pay her bills, and she's received a bill from the hospital for her stay and treatment after the attempt. You can read more and support Amy getting back on her feet here.
girly_curl_3's cousin and her partner have launched a kickstarter to help found their company, American Dog. The company is gay owned and operated, local to Colorado, and promises to keep their toys made in the USA. You can read more at their Facebook, or read and support at their kickstarter here.
Help for Free:
celtic_maenad is looking for advice regarding long-distance moving, from Orlando, Florida to the Burbank/North Hollywood region of California. She's looking for advice on neighborhoods to avoid, good moving companies, tips on long-distance apartment hunting, and what kind of place they could get for two people and a cat for $950/mo. You can read more and offer your advice here.
Housing:
off_coloratura is looking for a third roommate in a Rogers Park apartment in Chicago. $750/mo plus utilities (usually between $50-$100); a private room with shared bath, in-unit laundry, and two cats, close to the red line and grocery. You can view pictures and get more information here.
Jobs:
Ryan's open-source textbook nonprofit, Openstax College at Rice University, is hiring for multiple jobs including Javascript and Python coders, Systems Administrator, and Digital Media specialist (which is entry level and does not require a college degree). You can read more and apply here. (This looks like the kind of place that would allow telecommuting so if you're not in the area of Rice University, I'd drop them a line and ask.)
And this has been Radio Free Monday! Thank you for your time. You can post items for my attention at the Radio Free Monday submissions form or via email at copperbadge at gmail dot com. If you're not sure how to proceed, here is a little more about what I do and how you can help (or ask for help!).

She's a wonderful person raising an autistic daughter, who gives away for free far more of her art than is probably financially advisable for someone trying to make a profit.
