Her death was faked to push Burke into rogue status, but she escaped from OPR custody; it is suspected that she went abroad, but her current whereabouts are unknown. Last confirmed sighting showed her with red hair. She is thought to have worked as a dog-walker and kiss-o-gram.

I, like rm, was entirely distracted by EL NO. But you make a good point -- that would be what it'd take to send Peter over the edge. It's an interesting premise. ANyway, neifile7 is onto something. El's probably teamed up with Kate (who escaped from the plane at the last minute, don't ya know) in some sort of uneasy but sexy truce. They live the life of high adventure and complicated crime, and are actually doing quite well for themselves. Then they stick their fingers into the wrong pie and are subsequently hired by Torchwood. Or MI13.
