Feb. 11th, 2010 08:53 amWhile working on the Big Book of Awesome this morning, I discovered Word's style templates. I know that the typesetters and graphic designers amongst us will LOL and roll their eyes, but it's new to me!
I have to go through and re-style all 83 pages of the Big Book (actually 86; I added in instructions and screencaps for processing invoices this morning). I'm keeping my head down and gathering up my web of information like a protective Batcape. It's that kind of week.
Also, a FOOD CHALLENGE from Jean, who is traveling:
Mom volunteered me to cook dinner while we're in Korea for our family here. I don't mind doing this at all but there are some setbacks: they don't have a oven, or tons of spices that people in the US are used to. Also, my grandmother doesn't like pasta so that's right out.
So here's my challenge for the cafe: Give me a recipe that's impressive looking but not TOO hard and feeds 6-8 people yet doesn't involve an oven, pasta, or complicated herbs. Bonus points if there's cheese somewhere, my aunt LOVES cheese.
*does Iron Chef hand motions* AREH CUISINE!
Have at it, kids!
