Department Of Someone Has Too Much Time On Their Hands: FRUIT MRI.

Department Of Missed This At Radio Free Monday: The cafe's own bluejeans07 will be at SDCC selling merch with Girls Drawin Girls, a group of animation professionals who draw sexy awesome pinup art on the side. Drop by and say hello! She also has let me know that the Westboro Baptist Church will be protesting SDCC -- apparently comic books are idolatry? -- and while I thought a flash mob of Torchwood cosplayers would be funny, joining in a fundraiser that donates money to AIDS research based on how long WBC protests is probably wiser.

My favourite story about the WBC is still the time they protested the seminary at University of Chicago and the fraternity house across from the seminary came out onto their patio, blasting "It's Raining Men" from their stereos, and did an extremely homoerotic dance in front of the protestors. (There was also a fundraiser, and someone handing out flyers about how God Hates Figs, which in turn led to R and me discussing the fact that he didn't know figs were an actual fruit.)

You guys, everyone in Chicago smells like feet today. BRING ON THE SNOW. I am ready for it to be winter.

I put some butter out on the counter to soften earlier this evening, in the anticipation that it would spread nicely on PRE-BEDTIME TOAST, the best toast of all.

Now it is soft, and I do not want toast, so I put it back in the fridge. Except then tomorrow morning when I want Doona Day toast, the butter will no longer be soft!

I am taunted by dairy.
