Warnings: Some gore.

( This is the cultural centre of America, surely they have tea somewhere. )

Also, have some Beta Quotes from this one!

Both links take you to Sam_Storyteller at Dreamwidth.
THE LINKS MARCH ONWARDS.

Normally I reserve this sort of link for Radio Free Monday, but it's a bit urgent so I thought I'd draw your attention: [livejournal.com profile] chibitoaster, a long-time member of the cafe, is a single mother in a bad financial situation who's struggling to make ends meet at the moment, and there is a fund set up in her name which you can read about here. If you can't donate, please, feel free to spread the word around. You can find the donation site here.

ALSO HERE IS SOME FANFIC WHAT YOU MAY ENJOY:

[livejournal.com profile] misswinterhill has busted her ass to write a magnificent Merlin Big Bang story, which I helped to beta. Thoroughly enjoyable, crammed with both classical and original mythology, and richly written, I really just can't recc this thing enough if you're into Merlin fanfic. You can find the masterpost, with links to the story at LJ, AO3, and as PDF download, here: The Sorceror And The King.

And guess what, I have fanfiction for you too! WHITE COLLAR/SHERLOCK, because nothing is more awesome than Sherlock Holmes and Neal Caffrey matching wits.

Also, because I'm a dork, I posted some quotes from the beta of this one, which was unusually vigorous and left me pleasantly sore.
I really do wonder, lately, if someone has put a curse on me. But why? And who? (he says, casting a suspicious look at the internet.)

The ulcer was actually kind of funny, once I found out what it was. The bronchitis was just absurd. The cancer scare was significantly less amusing than either of them.

I really wasn't expecting the plague of wasps.

You think I'm joking, and so did my super at first, but I have the sting-mark to prove it. They kept showing up in my bedroom late at night or early in the morning, and I couldn't figure out where they were coming from. I KNOW THIS SOUNDS CRAZY. The wasps stalk me at twilight!

But then Crazy Irish Super showed up and poked my light fixture for a while and said "Hmm" and spackled it, and now he's wandering around on the roof looking for a wasp's nest.

I'm going to spend the weekend in bed with the blankets over my head.
