Jenkins was recently diagnosed with fibromylagia and Sjogren's Syndrome, which have been costly and difficult to treat; she's having difficulty earning a living day-to-day while trying to climb out of debt from medical treatments and other losses, so she's raising funds to cover treatments and debt repayments. taradilien is raising funds to cover medical bills and other expenses after having been out of work since February of 2015 due to ill health. At this point she's just trying to pay this month's bills and get the medicine she needs to manage her illness; she's also awaiting surgery, and has recently lost some sources of support. Paxfelis linked to a fundraiser for a friend who was recently laid off and is trying to keep housing for herself and her children, which between medical issues, low child support, and loss of unemployment insurance is proving difficult. (Pax, I know you gave me some other info but I'm not comfortable sharing that without permission; suffice it to say, guys, she's got some other struggles going on too.)

maschalismos was recently diagnosed with lupus and fibromyalgia, and is struggling to cover medical bills for her diagnosis and for ongoing attempts at treatment. You can read more and help out with her medical bills here.

editrx has been struggling a lot lately, and is facing a lot of bills, a lien on her house, and overdue rent on her independent bookstore. She's currently raising $2250 to pay back rent to keep from being evicted; you can read more and help out here. brainwane linked to WisCon, a feminist scifi convention which is looking for volunteer help in writing, editing, and communications. You don't need any particular credientials or to have attended WisCon in the past! You can read more about what they need and how to volunteer here.

brainwane also linked to The Media Show, an online puppet show that teaches media literacy and is looking for short videos (~15 seconds) from diverse programmers showing where they program. Programmers who are not cis men, who are in rural areas, or who are outside North America are especially invited to send in videos. You can read more about what they want and how to send it in here.
