That sounds like somebody threw a whole bunch of random words together in a bag and picked some. XD

It's Minnesota. Everything's run by the Lutherans.

And if they're not actual members of the Lutheran Church, they're culturally Lutheran.

I've always wanted to try ostrich ... that, however, looks like you stuck a bamboo chopstick into an ostrich's flank and dribbled sauce on whatever was stuck to it when you pulled it out.

... Did you?

Well, it's not an authentic fair experience if you do it any other way!

Nah, it's just a ground ostrich meatball with teriyaki, basically. Kind of dry. Delicious though!

MN= lutherans or catholics. It's ALL run by guilty-feeling but nice church ladies. Everything.

Lutherans rock the exotic food. We have weird stuff at our church pot lucks all the time. Weird, but really, really good.

I might have LOL'ed.

(Actually, this is not entirely true. My mother went to high school in the Twin Cities, and she lived with a Jewish clan who totally dominated the neighborhood. :D)

IT WAS GOOOOOOOOD!

Well, ok, the teriyaki was really good. The ostrich itself was a trifle dry.

Yeah, the whole buzz about it is it's supposed to be low-fat. Which means it needs a good marinade and some olive oil to keep it from drying out. But YAY OSTRICH ONNA STICK!
